Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on July 20, 2021, as Space and Defense Correspondent. She is a reporter covering everything from NASA as well as the Space Force and commercial space companies, to the emergence of space tourism. Kristin's parents are each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space. She has also been a White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the Biden and Trump Administrations' positions regarding space-related issues. Also, she covered the 2020 presidential race and efforts by two administrations to fight the coronavirus. She traveled extensively with both the Vice President and the President included an official trip to Afghanistan and Afghanistan, which she travelled on with Donald Trump. Before being hired by the channel in the year 2015, Kristin spent nearly a 10 years working her way up through local TV news markets in Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she received the Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin used her experience behind the lens to start Field Mouse Films. The company specialized in producing documentary-style films, and became a preferred choice of corporate clients such as Uber, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned a bachelors of Science in journalism from Boston University. She lives in Washington, D.C., with her entire family, which includes their daughter, who is three years old.
